Group Fitness Instructors

 
Beth Arthur
Beth has taught fitness classes, including Pilates, Water, and Hi/Lo for 6 years, currently instructing at the Rex Wellness Center, and with the Sunset Ridge Club System.  She is nationally certified by the Interactive Fitness Trainers of America, and has also received national certifications in Pilates and aqua.  Beth is also CPR and Community Water Safety certified. As a collegiate basketball player at Carnegie Mellon University, she was introduced to fitness instruction while in a work/study program.  She created and manages the Introduction to Hoops Program for the Town of Holly Springs.  She also developed and coordinates the Buddy Sports Program for the town, a special needs athletic program that has attracted widespread participation.  Beth, her husband Rob, and their two children are members of Sunset Ridge Racquet and Swim Club and have resided in Holly Springs for 11 years.
 
 
Karee White
Karee has taught fitness classes, including Yoga, Step, Hi/Lo, Water, Pilates and Cycling for 12 years, currently instructing at ClubWorx Fitness Center, and with the Sunset Ridge Club System.  Prior to this, she trained and acted as a Master Fitness Trainer in her all her tours of duty while serving in the Army, following college.   She was the first female soldier in the United States Army to successfully complete French Commando School (France’s equivalent to Ranger School) in France.  She is nationally certified by The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, and has also received national certifications in yoga, aqua, cycling, Pilates, and personal training.  Karee, her husband Jim, and their eight children are members of Sunset Ridge Racquet and Swim Club and have resided in Holly Springs for 15 years. 
 
 
Ingrid Goff
Ingrid has taught fitness classes for over 25 years. She currently instructs with the Sunset Ridge Club System.   Although her full time occupation was as a reading Specialist, her second job as an instructor of Hi/Low aerobics, Step training, Interval Training , Pilates and Qi Gong helped balance her life. She studied ballet, Tai Chi and Qi Gong for many years.  She was initially certified by IDEA and then by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America and has taken numerous courses with expert trainers, most notably Gin Miller, the master trainer and inventor of the Step.  In New York, she taught for Continuing Education and the Ignite Fitness Club of New Paltz, NY until moving to Holly Springs two years ago. She and her husband, Ralph have nine grandchildren.
 
 

Maureen Doetzer

Maureen has taught aerobics and fitness classes for 19 years. She has received national certifications from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, Interactive Fitness Trainers of America, and IDEA. She has taught a wide variety of fitness classes, including:  Pilates, strength training, step, hi/lo, kick boxing, and aqua aerobics.  Maureen, her husband Bob, and their four children are members of Sunset Ridge Racquet and Swim Club and have lived in Holly Springs for 12 years.
